I started this blog in April 2006 because I don't want to forget a single second of this awesome life. Why a blog? Because I'm a slacker. That's why.
Baby books? I'd actually have to find a pen. Have you SEEN my house? (Shhhhhhht...NOT a question). Scrapbooking? Puh-lease. When you can add six more hours in the day MAYBE we'll talk about it. I do like to sleep. Occasionally.

Not Exactly State Fair Food
We like to watch Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. Tonight he was in Asia dining on kobe beef (oh, and rooster balls, too, but that's another story). When he compared kobe beef to foie gras I told Chris I couldn't remember what foie gras was when Roo piped up in her oh so confident and slightly know-it-all voice and said, "Uh, Mom...its COTTON CANDY".
Really? I bet you won't be coming across a foie gras booth at the state fair this summer. Can you imagine ordering a funnel cake and some foie gras before you hop on the ferris wheel?
