I started this blog in April 2006 because I don't want to forget a single second of this awesome life. Why a blog? Because I'm a slacker. That's why.
Baby books? I'd actually have to find a pen. Have you SEEN my house? (Shhhhhhht...NOT a question). Scrapbooking? Puh-lease. When you can add six more hours in the day MAYBE we'll talk about it. I do like to sleep. Occasionally.

Very Fun
Chris left for Salina yesterday for a ten day training class and I think it hit The Lu tonight that he'll be gone longer than usual. She had a little mini meltdown before bed. I think it was a combo of missing dad and being ridiculously tired. Mostly tired, because a piggy back ride to the bathroom stopped the flow of tears pretty quickly.
After the girls said they're usual "Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep" prayer The Lu said she needed to say an "extra one".
LU: Thank you, God. I hope my Daddy has very fun. And I miss my Daddy. Amen.
