I'm Heather. I'm over-caffeinated, under appreciated and constantly amused by these two crazy peeps we call our daughters.

I started this blog in April 2006 because I don't want to forget a single second of this awesome life. Why a blog? Because I'm a slacker. That's why.

Baby books? I'd actually have to find a pen. Have you SEEN my house? (Shhhhhhht...NOT a question). Scrapbooking? Puh-lease. When you can add six more hours in the day MAYBE we'll talk about it. I do like to sleep. Occasionally.

Her First Curse Word

At least it was better than Roo's (it rhymed with witch). And she was much older than Roo (Roo was not quite 18 months).

Chris and I were raking leaves and putting them into a big bag when The Lu asked if she could help. We told her she would do a great job holding the bag for us. She grabs ahold of the bag, rises to her tip toes, peeks over the top at what's inside and says, "HOLY CWAP!"

Neither of us could contain our laughter so she repeated it about eight time until we stopped laughing long enough to tell her that wasn't a nice word. Then I went inside and left her out there with Chris so I could keep on laughing.
