welcome to the tales of our crazy life
I'm Heather. I'm over-caffeinated, under appreciated and constantly amused by these two crazy peeps we call our daughters.
I started this blog in April 2006 because I don't want to forget a single second of this awesome life. Why a blog? Because I'm a slacker. That's why.
Baby books? I'd actually have to find a pen. Have you SEEN my house? (Shhhhhhht...NOT a question). Scrapbooking? Puh-lease. When you can add six more hours in the day MAYBE we'll talk about it. I do like to sleep. Occasionally.

Jesus and Great Grandpa
It's so hard to explain to kids just how much you love them and I really want my kids to know that so a long time ago I started this thing where I say to the girls, "I love you more than (insert something I really love like sushi or coffee)." They started saying it back and inserting something they really love which is usually chocolate mint ice cream or Curious George. Tonight we're all getting snuggled into bed and Roo says, "Daddy, I love you more than Jesus and Great Grandpa." Not to be outdone The Lu says, "Daddy, I love you more than poop." I'm thinking Lu hasn't quite grasped the whole concept yet. But she sure does love her Daddy.
