I'm Heather. I'm over-caffeinated, under appreciated and constantly amused by these two crazy peeps we call our daughters.

I started this blog in April 2006 because I don't want to forget a single second of this awesome life. Why a blog? Because I'm a slacker. That's why.

Baby books? I'd actually have to find a pen. Have you SEEN my house? (Shhhhhhht...NOT a question). Scrapbooking? Puh-lease. When you can add six more hours in the day MAYBE we'll talk about it. I do like to sleep. Occasionally.

Hard Headed Smarty Pants

Roo is the stubborn one. She always has been. When it comes to somebody showing her how to do something she just shuts down and refuses to listen or talk about it. We left her alone at the table the other night with her number book and the dry erase marker while we gave Lu an oatmeal bath (gotta love those Chicken Pots). I went to check on her after about 5 minutes to find that she had traced the numbers 1 through 10 six times. So tonight we got out the alphabet book and the dry erase marker again. She sat down and wrote (not traced, but WROTE) the letters A, B, C, D, E, F, H, I, J L, M, O, P, Q and R. Did I mention that she wasn't even tracing....she WROTE them...all by herself!

Can't tell I'm proud, can you?
