My work is photographing other people's children, but there's nobody I'd rather photograph than my own kids. Roo is my cooperative one when it comes to pictures. She's actually gotten pretty into it lately. She loves to dress up and play model so I was inspired to take her to out for a quick photo shoot the other day. We put on a new outfit and off we went. I've got her sitting on a standpipe in front of a restaurant and as people walk by they all start fussing over how cute she is and how precious she is and, "Oh, isn't she adorable!". As I'm shooting Roo folds her arms across her chest, looks at me with a raised eyebrow and says in a very grown up, very conceited voice, "Mommy, all these people are looking at me like I'm a MODEL."

Nothing like a self-confident little girl.
